Remnant Foundation School: Preserving the Faith, Raising a Generation Grounded in Truth

INTRODUCTION

In a generation where the Christian faith and standard has been increasingly diluted, reinterpreted, and sometimes distorted, hence, the need for sound doctrine, authentic discipleship, and faithful transmission of truth has never been more urgent.

It is within this context that Remnant Foundation School (RFS) was birthed.

Remnant Foundation School exists as a response to the growing decadence and skewness that the Gospel has suffered in our day. It is a Christian academy committed to the recovery, preservation, and continuation of the life of God and the teachings of Christ as entrusted to the Apostles and faithfully handed down through the generations.

At the heart of Remnant Foundation School is a clear biblical mandate drawn from 2 Timothy 2:2, where Apostle Paul instructs that the truths of the faith must first be recovered, then committed to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Before continuity can be achieved, there must be recovery of sound doctrine, apostolic teaching, and the life of God expressed through holy living. Only then can the faith be faithfully transmitted from one generation to the next.

This instruction forms the backbone of RFS’s vision.

Her Mission

The mission of Remnant Foundation School is to raise believers who are strong in God’s Word, grounded in doctrine, and committed to serving as true representatives of Christ wherever they go. In other words, RFS exists to produce believers who are discerning, spiritually mature, and equipped to live out and defend the Christian faith in an ever-changing world.

Her Core Values

The training and culture of Remnant Foundation School are anchored on four core values:

  • Sound Doctrine – Upholding biblical truth with clarity and accuracy

  • Excellence – Pursuing quality in teaching, structure, and delivery

  • Discipleship – Fostering spiritual growth through intentional formation

  • Priesthood – Equipping believers to walk in their identity as priests unto God

Leadership of RFS

The vision of Remnant Foundation School is stewarded by a leadership team committed to preserving doctrinal integrity, fostering spiritual growth, and ensuring academic excellence. United by the school’s guiding motto, “Committing the faith unto faithful men”, each leader plays a vital role in advancing the mandate of the academy.

Reverend Victor Anaele serves as the Director of Remnant Foundation School, providing overall spiritual, doctrinal, and administrative oversight. Under his leadership, the academy has grown from its foundational Basic Class into a structured institution with multiple cohorts, advanced levels of training, and an expanding international reach.

The Advanced Class is supervised by Pastor Richard Kalu, who provides academic and spiritual oversight for students engaged in deeper theological training, while the Basic Class is supervised by Pastor Kenneth Thompson, who oversees the foundational stage of discipleship and doctrinal instruction.

Mr. Nelson Williams serves as a lecturer, contributing to the academic formation of students, and Bolaji Blessing supports the smooth coordination and daily operations of the academy as part of the support staff.

How Remnant Foundation School Came to Be

The journey of Remnant Foundation School began in June 2024 with the Basic Class, intentionally designed to disciple believers and establish strong doctrinal foundations. This initial phase was structured as a three-month intensive training program, carefully crafted to ground students in the core truths of the Christian faith.

During this period, students were guided through a robust curriculum delivered by a committed faculty team under the leadership and guidance of Reverend Victor Anaele. The emphasis was not only on learning but on spiritual formation, accuracy of doctrine, and practical Christian living.

This foundational phase culminated in September 2024, when the school celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of Basic students. The graduation took place as part of the one-year anniversary celebration of the

Remnant Christian Network, marking a significant moment in the history of the academy.

Following the success of the inaugural Basic Class, Remnant Foundation School entered a new phase of growth in October 2024 with the official introduction of the Advanced Class. This phase was designed to provide continuity for graduates of the Basic program, allowing them to build upon the foundations they had already received.

During this season, the Basic and Advanced Classes ran concurrently. Students were also exposed to deeper theological engagement. This second phase came to a close on 15th December 2024, with the graduation ceremony of the second cohort, which included both Basic and Advanced students. This milestone marked the academy’s transition from a single-level discipleship program into a multi-level training institution.

The Third Phase: International Expansion and Structural Development

With a growing vision to evolve into an international Bible institute, Remnant Foundation School launched its third cohort on 1st March 2025. This phase marked a significant turning point in the academy’s history.

For the first time, online participation was introduced, enabling students outside Nigeria to join the training. This opened the door for international students from countries such as the United States, Finland, Qatar, and Sierra Leone to participate fully in the RFS learning experience.

In alignment with the academy’s long-term goals, several strategic changes were implemented:

The training duration was extended from three months to six months

Additional courses were introduced for both Basic and Advanced Classes

Twelve-hour compulsory prayer stretches were incorporated intermittently throughout the training period

A structured assessment system was established, including examinations, tests, and a practicum

Students were given opportunities to participate in outreaches, allowing them to apply what they learned beyond the classroom.

During this six-month training period, the school underwent a major curriculum overhaul, introducing new courses such as Theological Studies, Missiology, Hermeneutics, Communications of the Holy Spirit, and Church History. These changes were designed to give students a richer, more balanced understanding of the Christian faith. This equips them to defend the faith, live it out practically, and minister effectively.

This phase concluded with the graduation of the third cohort on 24th August 2025, marking a defining moment in the academy’s journey toward becoming a globally accessible Bible training institution.

From its first cohort to its expanding international participation, Remnant Foundation School stands as a testimony to what God can do through a vision rooted in truth and obedience.

If you have been longing for depth in God’s Word, clarity in doctrine, and intentional discipleship, this may be your invitation. Remnant Foundation School offers both on-site and online learning options, making quality biblical education accessible to students across nations. Learning is structured, immersive, and spiritually intentional, with flexible schedules that accommodate diverse contexts while maintaining discipline and accountability. Admissions into Remnant Foundation School open once each year in March, and applications for the 2026 session are now open.

The harvest is ripe, and the call is clear.
